The Story / Concept

Welcome to “Bumfuck Nowhere” — a dusty, broken-down village somewhere in 1990s Eastern Europe where nothing works quite right and everyone is in everyone else’s business. You play John, the local mechanic, trying to keep his garage afloat in a place where original parts are a luxury and pantyhose can absolutely double as a timing belt. Cheap Car Repair: Welcome to Nowhere is a darkly funny, surprisingly relaxing sim about cutting corners, hustling customers, and trying not to anger Christopher Kingman — the local “businessman” you really don’t want on your bad side.

Core Gameplay Features

  1. Creative (and Illegal) Repairs — Fix cars the way a broke village mechanic actually would.
    • Patch dents with body filler — paint over rust, problem solved
    • Swap real parts for sponges, pantyhose, or whatever fits
    • Dilute gasoline with water (or beer and vodka, if you’re feeling adventurous)
  2. Run a Full Repair Shop — You’re the mechanic, painter, and accountant all in one.
    • Lift cars, swap wheels, disassemble and reassemble parts
    • Balance repair quality, customer satisfaction, and profit margin
    • Renovate the garage when locals trash it out of spite
  3. Story-Driven Village Drama — Step outside the workshop and meet the residents.
    • Take on story missions across the village
    • Watch John’s life spiral as he tangles with Christopher Kingman
    • Filled with the kind of 90s Polish village humor that just hits different

Who Is This For?

Fans of Car Mechanic Simulator looking for something with more personality, dark humor, and Eastern European chaos will absolutely love this. If you enjoy quirky job sims, immersive sim mechanics, and games that don’t take themselves too seriously. Perfect for chill, slightly absurd evening play sessions.

Pro Tip

The temptation to maximize profit by cutting every corner is real — but unhappy customers come back. Find a balance: cheap fixes on small jobs, slightly more honest work on bigger repairs. Your reputation pays out long-term, even if it feels less fun.
