Brawl Stars November 2026 Update Reworks Ranked
Published on November 2, 2026, the update raises Ranked’s competitive requirements. Every rank now requires Power 11 Brawlers, Diamond needs 12 eligible Brawlers, and Ranked unlocks at 5,000 Trophies instead of 1,000. Players who already unlocked Ranked keep access and receive a Chaos Drop at the new milestone, while the number of free maxed Brawlers rises from three to six per season.
Monthly seasons remain, but the reset now drops players by only two ranks instead of six. Best-of-three Elo also reflects the round score: a 2–0 Epic Win grants extra progress, while losing a close 1–2 costs less. Early and middle ranks receive higher Elo gains, and premade Ranked teams are disabled at Masters I and above.
A Faster, Clearer Pick-and-Ban Screen
The redesigned draft grid shows more Brawlers at once and displays their Gadgets and Star Powers directly on each tile. Players can filter the roster, sort by class, Trophies, favourites, or power level, suggest bans, offer to swap pick order, and use quick chat to request a role, class, counter, or lane.
Final preparation now includes a 3D map preview, skin selection, Brawler swaps, loadout changes, Pins, and quick-chat callouts. Post-match screens and the Battle Log add deeper statistics for takedowns, defeats, damage, healing, damage received, objective scores, picks, bans, and individual best-of-three rounds.
Thunder Frogs, Rey, and Ruby Join the Roster
Thunder Frogs — Legendary Artillery
Zap, Zee, and Volt fight as a magical frog trio. Triangle Trick sends frogs jumping to targeted locations; after the second jump, electricity connects all three points and deals stronger damage along the triangle’s edges. Their Frogzilla! Super combines the trio into one giant frog that can make three increasingly powerful area jumps.
Their Gadgets can launch two frogs at once or turn the next triangle into a 2,000-health team heal. Star Powers add Super healing or a two-second slow along the triangle edges, while the Triple the Tricks Hypercharge creates an additional damage triangle between the three Super landings.
Rey — Mythic Marksman
Rey marks targets over time and deals more damage as the mark fills. His Endgame Super can aim for up to three seconds, shields him by 30%, marks visible enemies, and then fires at every target in range. He also shares the Power Couple trait with Ruby: his main attack heals an allied Ruby for 800 health and he moves 10% faster toward her.
Ruby — Mythic Damage Dealer
Ruby throws a Club and Diamond in a figure-eight path, gaining bonus damage when both connect together. Royal Flush creates a four-second zone that grounds opponents and fills with swirling shots dealing percentage-based damage. Her version of Power Couple heals an allied Rey for 400 health and grants the same movement-speed bonus toward him.
New Hypercharges and Seven Buffie Sets
Cosmo’s Cosmic Capture makes his Hyper projectile home toward its target and root it for two seconds. Vince’s Bug Swarm keeps his Super at maximum power and releases Hypercharged caterpillars around him.
Mr. P, Lou, Gale, Mandy, Chester, and Berry receive complete Buffie packages covering both Gadgets, both Star Powers, and their Hypercharge. The additions create new porter interactions for Mr. P, deeper freeze combos for Lou, stronger space control for Gale, extreme focused range for Mandy, more controlled chaos for Chester, and expanded team support for Berry.
- Mr. P: stronger shielding and porter interactions, including suitcase healing and repeated Hypercharge bounces.
- Lou and Gale: more slippery ground, freeze payoffs, projectile redirection, team speed, and close-range slows.
- Mandy and Chester: reworked Gadgets and Star Powers reward focused sniping or planned randomness.
- Berry: allies can gain reload support from ice cream, while his Hypercharged attacks split into extra puddles.
Brawl Vice, Brawlidays, and New Skins
Brawl Vice brings Brawl Pass skins for Bull and Poco with two Chromas each, plus Undercover Buzz, Undercover Pierce, Black Market Barley, and City Days and City Nights Emz. Its season title is Undercover.
Brawlidays follows with Santa Squeak and Nutcracker Draco Pass sets, Snowball Bolt, Gingerbread Starr Nova, Brawlidays Pam, and Delivery Elf Jessie. Additional releases include Toon Mortis, Steamboat Penny, three esports cosmetics, a three-stage Bibi Pro Pass collection, and True Silver and Gold skins for Cosmo and Vince.
Major Balance Changes
The update buffs Hank, Shelly, Ziggy, Draco, Chuck, Darryl, Melodie, Buster, Angelo, and R-T. Highlights include more health for Hank, increased attack and Super damage for Shelly, a stronger and more protective Draco Super, faster Chuck reload, and retained unused Super charges after defeat for Chuck, Darryl, and Melodie.
Amber, Shade, Gus, Wendy, Colette, Ash, Max, Pierce, Maisie, Nori, Brock, and Rico receive nerfs. Shade and Gus take especially broad reductions across survivability, Super cycling, Gadgets, Star Powers, and Buffie effects, while Amber loses Super damage, Hypercharge radius, barrel durability, and Gadget availability.
Surge, Cosmo, Damian, Squeak, and Kit receive mixed adjustments rather than simple buffs or nerfs. A separate Brawl Arena pass reduces scaling for several dominant picks while improving Nori, Fang, Najia, Doug, and Chuck.
New and Returning Game Modes
- Jingle Brawls: a Christmas version of Topple the Tower with a limited Brawler pool and one use per Brawler during a run.
- Mega Showdown: 20 players explore a larger map, defeat bosses and robots for Power Cubes, and use a mini-map to navigate.
- Counterlight: a two-round attack-and-defend race where teams set the capture time and then try to beat it.
- Loaded Showdown: refreshed permanent boosts, consumables, carryables, and rotating themed item sets.
- Super Hockey: charged puck shots and AI goalkeepers reshape Brawl Hockey.
- Returning favourites: Drumroll and Present Plunder rejoin the rotation.
Eighteen community-designed maps enter Hot Zone, Brawl Ball, Heist, Gem Grab, Knockout, and Bounty. Candy Stand, Katana Kingdom Rebuilt, Puzzle World, Retropolis, Snowtel, Starr Force, and Stunt Show environments are also added, while Duolingo and several older environments rotate out.
Pro Pass and Permanent Quality-of-Life Improvements
The next Pro Pass season lasts three months before the system moves to a monthly format. Buying the pass grants 2,000 Pro Pass XP in-game or 4,000 through the Supercell Store, while Ranked wins provide weekly XP with doubled rewards and caps for owners. Reaching Pro Rank will no longer qualify players for BSC 2027; the Championship Challenge and Challengers Program become the route into the competition.
Pins and Sprays gain presets, categories, mixed slots, auto-fire triggers, and a hold-to-select wheel. New Brawler Quests appear after unlocking a fighter, chat keeps history and adds message reactions, and Brawler Blast now guarantees a Brawler choice rather than using a 50% chance.
Supercell also reports competitive-integrity action against more than 53,000 accounts using third-party software and over 4,000 accounts involved in win trading. The update includes extensive matchmaking, network, reward, UI, crash, Brawler, and cosmetic fixes.
Pro Tip
Do not enter Ranked with a roster that only barely meets the new requirement. Build a balanced set of Power 11 options across damage, control, support, tank, and artillery roles, then use the new sorting and quick-chat tools to cover gaps during draft. Rey and Ruby reward coordination, but each should still be evaluated as an independent pick when only one is available.
